ECOINNOCATALYSTS je projekt, ktorý sa zaoberá vývojom ekologicky prijateľných metód modifikácie elektrodových materiálov v eutektických rozpúšťadlách (DES).
The project ECOINNOCATALYST is a two-year research project focused on advancing the development of efficient photo- and electrocatalysts for the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (HER). This research aims to investigate the kinetic and mechanisms of electrodeposition, electrooxidation, and electroless deposition of photo- and electroactive layers on cost-effective substrates using eco-friendly electrolytes, specifically room-temperature deep eutectic solvents (DESs). The ultimate goal is to produce high-performance cathode materials for the eco-friendly production of "green" hydrogen. The project addresses the critical need for sustainable hydrogen production via electrolysis using renewable energy sources.

Welcome to the "Eco-Friendly Surface Modification of Electrode Materials in Deep Eutectic Solvents" project. Our research is focused on advancing the field of photo- and electrocatalysts for the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (HER). We are committed to investigating the kinetic peculiarities and mechanisms of electrodeposition, electrooxidation, and electroless deposition of photo- and electroactive layers on affordable substrates using newly developed eco-friendly electrolytes (room-temperature deep eutectic solvents).
Our work aims to provide a theoretical foundation that contributes to the development of highly efficient catalysts for the HER and supports the hydrogen economy's growth. We strive to bridge fundamental research with practical applications, driving technological advancement, economic growth, and environmental sustainability.
